those were some nice videos. I expected the slick trick to be the one to pass the test also.

Re: Broadhead Testing 2010
Man, those are awesome brother! That's some great, great info! Can't wait to see continued testing. Thanks so much for contributing those. You're very comfortable on the camera, seems silly, but you're a natural, and that comfort makes the video even better. Great stuff!

Re: Broadhead Testing 2010
Hey Jerry,
just a question, some people here are saying those kind of test are not utile for see the efficiency of those broadhead on hunt???
I'm an not cultivated on those thinks, I think that can give us the level of resistance in extreme test... Can you tell me more on your conclusions?

Re: Broadhead Testing 2010
I love the reviews! Thanks Jerry!
It's true Michel, these tests are not designed to demonstrate the accuracy of the broadhead in flight, only the strength of the blades and ferrules and penetration. it offers great insight as to how well a broadhead is going to hold up to hard surfaces such as bone, what the blades are going to look like, and even give you an idea of the blood trail it may leave. For instance, going through bone with the Atom, judging from the job it did going through plywood, and the fact that the wires came off, suggest that if you make a shoulder shot on a boar, deer or other large animal, you very well may not get much of a blood trail at all. Unfortunately, that could mean the difference between locating your harvest or leaving it for the buzzards; having said that, a poor blood trail is no excuse for not trying your best to always recover them.
Accuracy would have to be a different test all together my friend.
Thanks again Jerry!

Re: Broadhead Testing 2010
Again, nice job Jerry! Like I hear before, the fixed blades look more solid, but they are some exception...

Re: Broadhead Testing 2010
Yes bro!!! I loved it!!! I'm gonna' have to go get a pack of the Inverter Broadheads! Are the F15's flying like field points? How noisy are the F15's? Would you shoot them? I like the potential for a bloodtrail they offer too and am thinking about those too! You're 'Da Man!
I remember that cat, the first time he walked into your store...Good to see him hanging around a great influence. Seems like a real nice guy. He can learn A LOT from hanging with ya.

Re: Broadhead Testing 2010
Kevin, i have tested the f-15 out to 50 yards and have had great flight 3 inch groups. Also tested the inverter at 50 and it had 3 inch groups. The f15 leaves a huge hole in plywood so i could image onflesh and hide it would be great. Oh were is that shuttle T lock you promised??????
good stuff Jerry, I gotta say tho that the aftershock surprised me. I wanted to try them a couple years ago but the ferrule being all aluminum turned me away... you have me re-thinking it now though.
