Well, if I'm counting correctly, we've had three tornadoes in Corsicana in the past two years. Had to close to home a few weeks ago and today I get a call from my wife.

"There's a tornado coming. We're in the closet under the stairs! They said everyone in the Eureka, Mildred area take cover immediately." A bit later another warning, same place. Earlier today my wife said she and my son went out front to look at the sky. There was a whispy looking "somethin" spinning out front and my son says, look at that dust devil! Not sure what it was, just a cloud that was pushed down to the ground perhaps and then started rotating. The sky does funny things but the weather today was no joke at all! There was another in Midlothian that did some damage.

Bad weather today. We are okay and no damage that I can see but I was up in Dallas when she called so I was pretty concerned, wish'd I could get home quicker but all is well, obviously. Last warning I heard today was a severe storm going over Nate's (Hillbilly) house so I hope they are all okay!

We almost have nothing. Some time a strong wind, but one's all the 5 or 10 years...

What a trip that would be if up in a tree at 15-20 ft when those winds start!!!!!!!!
