Post my hunt in burlington tx.
yep i got skunked the by the hogs but not the coon. my wife phyllis got a shot off at one that look around 300# he was a monster. heard the squeal but he ran off to no mans land.(back thru the fence) and they never came back in friday nite. 2 of the other hunters got a double a sow about 150 and and a football. a guy from up north took one about 200#.sat nite i was in the shooting seat and the only thing tat came in were the coons. 2 less around there now.had a great time and got to meet some guys from another forum. had a good bbq and alot of bs'ing. the got to talk with the guy that runs p-o-r-k-i-e-s.org and he said its looking like his charity if fixing to be in 4 states soon.
If you know of anybody that is down on theiir luck and needs some meat let him or i know and he'll get them fixed up. 2 of the pigs shot this weekend went to a needy family and i am gald to be a small part of helping him help other people.

Hey Paul, congrats on the great time and the new friends! That's is a part of what hunting is all about - it's never about the harvests although they are great rewards as well, but the new friends you've made and the memories with your wife are invaluable. Hold onto them.

Remind everyone about your friend's charity. I think it's important and noble. We should support this type of charity if we have the opportunity and the desire to help.
