No need to sign a list, we'll take care of that! Just start hunting but make sure you have your camera and a sign that reads "Just-Hunt Fall Slam 2009-2010!" A piece of paper is fine as long as we can read it in the photo!

Here is the point breakdown! Read everything carefully! Bonus points can be earned!


Elk, Caribou, Bear, Mountain Lion (cougar), WT buck, Mulie Buck, antelope buck = 5 points each for bowhunting or 4 points for rifle, crossbow, muzzleloader, shotgun

WT does, mulies does, antelope does, fall turkeys, all exotics, rams, sheep (basically all big game including hogs besides what's listed above) = 2 points for bow, 1 point for rifle, crossbow, muzzleloader, shotgun

Songdogs and bobcats = 1 point for rifle and 5 points for bow (hunt predators with a bow and you'll understand why).

Waterfowl and other game birds = 1 point per limit or 5 points for bow (same reason as stated for yotes and bobcats)

All entries, at a minimum, must be in the form of a picture of the hunter with the harvested animal(s) and weapon used with a sign that reads "Just-Hunt Fall Slam 2009-2010".

Those submitting waterfowl and other game bird harvest pictures must include a link to their state wildlife agency that provides the standing baglimit rule for their specific submission so that we can clearly see that the limit has been reached.

*Sponsor representation in the photos will result in one bonus point per sponsor noted in the photo.

There will be NO exceptions to the "photo rule" for submissions.


Hunters submitting a photo and video tape of their successful hunt will receive double points per harvest. Sponsor products readily observed in the video will result in two sponsor points for each sponsor observed on video. A photo meeting the minimum submission requirements is still required with video submission and hunters can still earn single sponsor points resulting from the photo accompanying the video as well as the double sponsor points from video footage.

*In order to be eligible for double points, hunters must print out, sign and mail a shared release (with the video tape is acceptable) allowing shared rights to the video footage. This means you have given Just-Hunt.com permission to freely use your hunting footage, and you still retain the right to simultaneously publish your footage as you see fit.

Just-Hunt Pro Staff Hunters are NOT eligible for the contest.

Wow, I might have to print that out and take it to the field with me to keep all that straight. It is a good thing Just hunt Pro-staff is not eligible with that bonus points for sponsor plug rule. Kevin would tear us all apart with all of his sponsors. Can't you just picture his deer carcass with 20 sponsors decals stuck to it.

Just messing with you a bit cuz I know you can take it. Sounds like fun. Is this limited to deer killed in your home state only and do management tags count or just regular season tags? If they count then watch out!

Hehe! That's funny. The most important thing is the "Just-Hunt Fall Slam 2009-2010". I don't care if it's on a piece of paper as long as it's legible in the pic. You collect points from NOW until midnight on January 17, 2010 (Sunday night). Mail submissions just have to be postmarked by January 17 (that's why I gave an extra week). As many as you harvest, tophies management, etc. doesn't matter! If it's listed and it's down, you get points. I'd love to see you win it! I'm working with more sponsors and hope to have a better list soon!
